Please Help with Remaining Balance!

She had surgery last Tuesday and despite some initial inflammation (requiring another procedure), she is doing wonderfully. Sweet Violet had a recheck yesterday. The vet was very pleased with her progress! Violet can now see, although is far sighted.
She seemed amazed by her new gift of sight. She spent the first few days just walking a her foster home looking at everything in disbelief. To be sure that her new vision matched her old lifestyle, she went around looking at and sniffing everything in her foster home including the other dogs. Each dog had to be sniffed from tail to nose to be sure they were who they said they were! Hello, I love you!
Hi There! My name is Sweet Violet, but you can call me Violet. My foster mom says I love to LOVE-- whatever that means. I just really, really, really like everybody I meet! The only problem is that I can't see you. I have cataracts in both of my eyes. Even though I get around just fine, I sure do miss seeing the world and all the wonderful people and dogs in it! The good news is that I can have something called surgery that will fix the cataracts. That's what this whole chip in thing is about...Since I was dumped at the pound, I don't have a birth certificate, but my vet says I'm between 7 years old and 10 years old, but I feel and act much younger! I love to go on walks and play with other dogs in my foster home, but seriously, nothing is better than snuggling. Won't you please help me see the world again? I appreciate any amount you can donate. Thank you... and by the way, I love you already! Love, Violet
